Daily Challenge - DAY FOUR - Advice To 16 Year Old Self

DAY FOUR

What Would You Tell Your 16 Year Old Self

Dear 16 Year Old Anecia,

Enjoy every moment. Live in the moment. One day you will look back on these years as some of your best memories. I know it's hard to do cheerleading, have a job, and try to have a social life, but you figure it out and it's worth it. You will love the independence you have from having your own job and your own money to spend. And you still have plenty of time for a social life. Go ahead, get into trouble... sneak out of the house, climb onto the roof of the school at night, and go muddin'. Like I said, these will be some of your best memories. About that boy, no he's not as great as you think, and no, he's not worth it. See what else is out there now because one day you'll find the one for you and he'll make you happy. As for now, just have fun with dating. Go to dances, ask the boy you're scared to ask. Enjoy these next few years. The real world is hard. I know you think it'll be a piece of cake but it won't. Prepare yourself for that. Don't be afraid to cry when things get hard but dust yourself off and move on because it will all work out in the end. You'll be fine. Tell yourself that.

Love,
24 Year Old Anecia
