@mom's school!

My mom is moving schools this year and I volunteered to help her unpack. I am so glad I went. I needed a day out of my house. And I had a blast with my sister!

my mom's new room

OK, this is her new 'smart board' She can project her computer screen on this board then touch the board where she would normally click with a mouse. Make sense? Basically it's like a giant touch-screen computer. Cool right?! Yeah well, I didn't even get to play with it, it wasn't up and workin yet. :(

I don't know who let her get ahold of this but it got annoying! However, everytime we asked hr to KNOCK IT OFF, she would say..and I quote, "But, I'm on a roll!"

My FINE labelling skills were put to work!

This is her carpet. Made of recycled rubber.

I am flat footed and can see over the bathroom stall!

Love her face!

Sorry for the blur my camera was on night setting somehow.

Jamie's Sr. Pics

On Monday I tagged along with my sister Jamie to have Jessie take her sr pics. I had my camera with me and thought I would be my own little photographer for the day! Now, I'm no pro and I don't think I could be, but it's fun!

Been a while...

It's not really like me to go this long without blogging! But I'm back!

Unfortunately not a lot has been goin on...I've been super stressed and down lately but no one has even noticed so that's good. I hate when you always feel like crying and people can tell so they ask you then you cry. Yeah. No. I lied, one person did ask and text me and offer to help, Jessie! Thanks girl!
It's weird but I don't really have one particular thing that is bugging me, it's like everything. So, I get a message one day (P.S thanks Jace for lookin out!) that cops were at my house, is everything ok?! Turns out Tony made the smoke alarm go off by cooking on the grill on the porch. Anyways, we have a security system so we're connected to the police and fire stations and when it went off they tried to call me and I was gone so they came over. Not a big deal, but I would have liked to have a head's up that it had happened. I don't know why that bothers me but it does.

Another stress I have is moolah. I don't think it will ever end. I just hate paying bills late and crap. I mean we're totally fine and I know it, Michael reminds me and reassures me all the time, but I still stress! I don't get it!

Also, just the fact that Tony is here is a HUGE stress. I just hate talking about it so I'm not going to, and don't ask but just know it's a stress I have and I HATE the whole situation.

I also hate that I don't know what I want in life. Everyone has a career in mind, school to go to, and it seems their lives are planned. Not me. I have no idea what I want. Well I do, to be a stay at home mom but that's just not realistic. Other than that, no clue. I like my job for the most part just don't know if I want to do it FOREVER.

Oh and I HATE drama! I hate when people make assumptions. For example, someone I know had a scratch on their car and automatically they knew exactly who it was that keyed their car and they were going to have someone comfront them. Good grief! Enough!

I also HATE when people fish for comments. I hate when someone says something like, "I'm going on a diet cuz I'm too fat." P.S I'll ignore you because you are just saying that to get a reaction. No sir! I do know people that are truly trying to lose weight to feel better about themselves and they don't go around saying CRAP like that!

Ok I guess I'm done venting for tonight. I've just had so much on my mind and no one to talk to with Michael working so gosh darn much!

@Lagoon!

07/11/10

It has been an incredibly long time since I have been to Lagoon! This time, we were lucky enough to have Michael's parents get us tickets so we could go with them and Jess & Tiff. We had a blast! We didn't go down till about 3:30 because Michael had a basketball game, but everyone was down there waiting for us. We started off the hot afternoon in an hour long line for the Rattlesnake Rapids. But it was worth it! We stayed cool pretty much the rest of the day! We then headed over to the North end of the park and hopped on the Rocket. Well, Michael, Mike (his dad) and I did. Everyone else was a little too chicken. Oh well because they took some great pictures of us! After the Rocket Michael, Tiff and Jesse went on the Samarai. (I'm a little chicken of that one.) They seemed to love it! Although Jesse and Michael complained it was painfull if you know what I mean. Tiffane thought it was pretty hilarious though! After that we hit the Jet Star, the Tilt-o-whirl (which we got to go on twice in a row because Michael's dad was in a wheelchair) and the Scrambler! Michael started feeling a little queezy at the tilt-o-whirl so we sat down to get a bite to eat to see if that helped...it didn't. I think the sun and the spinning got to him, so we went down to the white roller coaster and he sat out while Mike, Jess, Tiff and I rode. That one never gets old to me! Although, I think it could use a paint job... Anyways after that ride we focused on the games. Michael won me a teddy bear at the basketball game, then won his mom one too! His dad had fun with a few of the other games but didn't come out with any prizes. At this point it was getting pretty late so we headed out. (That's what we get for going down so late, we didn't ride the best rides! The music one, the Colossus, Wicked, the Spider and best of all the Farris Wheel! :( :( :( we are HOPING we get to use our bouncebacks and ride all the rides we didn't get the chance to this time) We all still had a blast!
Tiffane came off the ride laughing. I guess she thought the boys' pain was funny hahaha I would have too!
I got a picture of Michael after the ride and right before he crouched in pain. tee hee

I just can't wait to go again!

Kylie's Baby Shower

I had so much fun helping Kylie set up for her baby shower. She had gotten some stinkin cute decorations for her 'Pirate' theme. It was adorable! The food was fantastic and all you losers who didn't show up really missed out!
I just can't wait till little Broderyck gets here! Kylie, you are going to make a great mommy!

4th of July 2010

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

What a fun weekend! As bummed as I was that I didn't get to go to the Perry celebrations with the fam, I still had a great 4th of July weekend. Even work was fun!

On the 4th we did fireworks in the driveway of Michael's parent's place. Kalel LOVED them! I don't think I have ever seen him so excited! Here's a picture of what he did every time a firework went off...

What a hoot! I love it! Here's a video of his excitement...

That is him in the background at the very beginning saying, "Watch, it's gonna get bigger!" and then at the end saying, "Do it again, do it again!" He cracked me up! He would jump while they were going and jump as he screamed Do it again! He loved them! (For those of you that don't know, that is Michael's nephew)

Here are some other pictures from that night...

The next night was the night of the Brigham City fireworks. We had planned since about last year at this time (we had an offer on the house and were crossing our fingers to get it) to climb up on the roof to watch the fireworks. We did it and it was beautiful. The roof is extremely steep so it was scary but I'd say worth it. And I'd say I'll probably do it again next year. The hardest part was probably climbing down the ladder, that whole turning around to get in the right position thing is difficult. But Michael, his friend Zach and I had a good time on the roof with the view.

This was the view from our roof before the fireworks started obviously because you can see the field lights on.

This is the view from our house with no zoom.

I took more pictures but I won't bore you all with them, I'm sure just about everyone saw them that night anyways.

Now, just for fun, let me go into a challenge I have. Taking pictures with Michael. He cannot keep his eyes open for the life of him. Especially if there is a flash. If there is no flash, it is still nearly impossible for him. So the next 3 pictures are me trying and failing to get a picture of the two of us..

Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!
