Best Nephew Ever

Michael and I are so lucky we're so close to our nephew!
The other day he was over and we were watchin football so I thought I'd take a pic of us.
Then he'd say, "Let's do it again" or "Let's take a funny one"
So we did. Again and again.

Thanksgiving 2011

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving this year!
Unfortunately Michael works every year on Thanksgiving, and this year was the Hanks' turn which is a 2 hour drive. So, Michael couldn't come with.
I had such a great time with my family, I just miss him!

My cousin, and one of my best friends Tish
Tish's daughter Laura

We played Air Hockey while waiting for the
feast to be done.

My Uncle Ned and new Aunt Olesya
After we all ate, we all crafted!

The great thing is they all turned out different!
This is my cousin Rachelle's
Tish with hers

I'm really picky when it comes to my crafts, so I took mine home to sand it before I put it together..
Here's mine!

Oh by the way, did you all see the Turkey I made too?!

Breaking Dawn Premiere

Every year yes, every year, my sisters and I go to the Twilight midnight showing.
This year Jamie wasn't able to join us because she lives an hour and a half away, but my cousin Chelsey came instead!
We had a blast! (as always)
We stuck to our tradition and met Jessie and her sisters at Wingers for Asphault Pie then headed to the movie and sat with them there!
Thanks for the great night girls!

Do you feel like crying today?

Well neither did I!
But, this music video didn't care, I cried anyway!
First of all, I have loved this song ever since we got the CD when it first came out, and I was glad it was on the radio because I think everyone should love this song!
I didn't know they would twist it to be so sad!
But the video is good, SO good!
Check it out, here's Jason Aldean's video "Tattoos On This Town"

I know, right!
Ok, here's a couple more new videos of songs I love to help cheer you up after that amazing video.

Chris Young: "You"

Steel Magnolia: "Bulletproof"

Jodi Turned 20!

Wow I cannot believe Jodi is 20!!!

My mom made this delicious cake that I decorated!

Kate gave her the second(?) book of the
Hunger Games series
My mom gave her some new jeans
My dad got her a Wal-Mart gift card so she
could buy the Breaking dawn soundtrack
when it comes out.
My grandma got her this cute bracelet
Not sure what's with her face though haha
Michael and I got her the best gift:
The Eclipse board game!
My mom made a DELICIOUS dinner of chicken alfredo and broccoli. But...Jodi found out that mom forgot the breadsticks...

This is the "No Breadsticks?" look

Hope it was a great one!

I Love Weddings

This weekend my Uncle Ned got married!
I am so happy for him because he has been waiting for this for so long and he deserves to be happy!
See, he met Oleysa online and she is from Russia.
3 years ago, he proposed and she accepted and the process to get her to America began.
Finally she is here and they are going to live Happily Ever After!

First was the ceremony...

My cousin Cody (the groom's son)
waled the beautiful bride down the
The gentleman with the glasses is my Uncle's
bishop and the guy in the orange tie next to him
is the translator.
Everything was said in English then in Russian.
It was filmed so she could send the video to her
family and they would understand.
First kiss as Husband and Wife!
Cue the cheers!

Next, we went to Ned's house for a Russian ceremony...

That is my grandma holding Russian bread.

They walk together and meet in the middle...
They take a bite of the bread together.
Whoever takes the bigger bite is Head of Household.
I think she won ;)

Then we went inside and the Newleyweds
gave us a tour of their home.
My cousin Katie, who made my cake, made
another beautiful wedding cake for them.

Her [real] bouquet.
The first dance.

Then we had a great time decorating the car...

We blew up a bunch of balloons and stuffed
them all in haha

Jamie had the great idea to write
on the back of the car!
So thanks to google translator I wrote this.
Katie caught the bouquet...AGAIN.
This girl needs to just get married already!

She would yell, "Bye-Bye!"

I have never seen anyone as happy as my Uncle on that day!
So happy that he can FINALLY live happily ever after!
Love you both!
