Baby Shower #2!

I am seriously ONE lucky girl!
My Aunt Donna was kind enough to throw me a baby shower for my dad's side of the family that lives in Logan.
It was FABULOUS!

Thanks to all that came and helped out!

This chocolate fountain may have
been my favorite part!

My mom got me these cute Chinese lanterns
to hang above Z's crib :)

All kinds of good stuff...lotion, powder, shampoo...ya know!

Hooded towels! I didn't have any yet so I was so thrilled!

Ok ignore my face but check out this amazing
monitor system I got!
It has a sensor pad that will sound an alarm
if it doesn't detect motion for 20 seconds!
I wanted these soooo bad!

You can never have too many diapers!

I got the coolest thing: a baby bullet!
I can't wait to start making baby food in
this bad boy!

My sister Jamie got this from her California
trip!

My grandma made this little bootie and put some money in
it for Z and also got me some bottles.

Oh and she got me these DARLING blankies!

My sister Jodi made these darling Z for
her room! It's already hanging up in there!

I'll admit, these two big items are like my favorite things ever!
Thanks once again to EVERYONE that came!
Love you all!

HAPPY "BUMP" DAY!

Hey everyone!
Hope everyone is having a good week!
I am but mostly because tomorrow is my Friday and it's only half a day! I have a fun 4 day weekend planned!

Now here's an update on me and baby and baby bump:

This is me at a whopping 32 weeks!
I went to the Dr. yesterday and he thinks I'll probably go 39 weeks!
I haven't had any blood pressure problems, or any contractions yet, so that's why he thinks I'll go clear up to at least week 39.
Yikes. It makes me nervous thinking I have 8 possibly 7 weeks left!
And sooo much to do!

Well as for me, I must admit, I try soooo hard not to complain.
I know there are people that would do ANYTHING to be pregnant even with all the downfalls of it. And I have been lucky enough to have an easy pregnancy. But let me tell you, this whole feet and hand swelling thing is NO BUENO!
I am HATING looking down and seeing this:

Oh hello Flinstone feet!
Uck I just cry looking at this picture. I am so miserable.
My shoes don't fit, even flip flops leave indents on my fat feet.
I wore a cute skirt and some leggings to work today but had to change on my lunch because even the leggings were just digging into my leg and leaving indents. Ew.

Here is what I have heard helps:
-lots of water (I feel like I drink so much, but I'll increase!)
-elevate feet (this one I have a hard time with because I can't prop them up at work and then when I get home I usually have dinner to cook and dishes to do and other things to get done that require me to be on my feet)
-bananas, watermelon and pineapple
-swimming (I think I'll start going to the nat with Michael on Mondays and swim while he plays basketball if anyone wants to join me!)
-grapefruit oils in my water
-compression socks
-magnesium supplements

Trust me, I'll be trying ALL of these because I am that desperate! But if anyone has anything else that helped them, I'm all ears!

As for my little list I did get one thing ALL done:

Oooh it just turned out so cute! I am in love with it! Thanks to my mom for doing the cushions and adding those buttons! She did such a good job and I just can't wait to rock Z in it!

As for everything else, I have been told by the dr no more painting...big frownie face :(
Michael is willing to do it and I'm sure I could recruit family but honestly I wanna do it so it gets done how I envision it so I may have to resort to getting a mask with ventilators in it.

This entertainment center needs to be painted and
transformed into a wardrobe.
And this dresser needs fixin (which Michael will do) and
a fresh new paint job.
Wish me luck in getting all of this done in time and if anyone wants to help, I'm ok with that!

As you can kind of see in the background of that picture, everything is just piled in her room. I can't tell you how many times I reorganize those piles just so I feel like I have accomplished something!

Once again, wish me luck!
Thanks!

Surprise Baby Shower!

As many of you probably saw on my Instagram, I have the best friends in the world. They surprised me with a baby shower on Saturday. I thought I was just going to get my toes done like everyone else but when I walked in there were presents and decorations galore! It was so cute and so sweet!
I am one lucky girl!

I got some great things and some super cute outfits for her!
(LOTS of pictures comin your way!)

My fruit baby!

My diaper cake!

My real cake which was DELICIOUS!

My surprised face =]
This is when I first walked in, I like it because I don't look way huge in it hehe

And yes I did get my toes done! Aren't they cute?!

Thanks ladies! I had the BEST time EVER!
I can't wait to put her in all these cute clothes and wrap her up in all the cute blankies I got too!

2 YEARS

It's hard to believe that we have already been married for two years!
They have been the best two years of my life and I know we'll have many many more to come!

Today for our anniversary we went to the Dr.
Everything is looking good!
We didn't get to see her because her arm was in front of her face but the good news is she is head down! She has been breach for a long time and I worried about her flipping but she did it!

Here is us on our anniversary:

Oooh I just love him to pieces!
We will be celebrating this weekend by going to Salt Lake. We'll go down Sunday, go somewhere nice to eat (probably Rodizzio Grill) and probably see a movie. Then we'll get up on Monday and head to the aquarium!
I'm excited for that, I've never been!
His parents are going to meet us down there and spend the weekend with us. I know you probably think it's weird but we were originally going to meet my family at the aquarium but they couldn't make it so we invited his parents. We thought it would be a fun weekend to get away. Besides, it's not like we are sharing a hotel room with them! ;) We just thought it would be fun to make it a family thing. Last year on our anniversary we were with my family camping so why not spend it with his family this year?

In honor of two great years here are a few of my favorite pictures from our wedding day!

This was seriously the best day of my life. Everyone says it can be the most stressful but not for me. I just remember smiling all day. I was the happiest girl then and I still am now. All I cared about was marrying the best guy I know!

Michael is my best friend, my rock, my everything! I don't know what I would do without him and I think I am the luckiest girl on the planet to have the husband I do and the marriage I do. I am so in love still and I can't wait for many many more anniversaries to come! Love you Michael!
