Insta-April

I like to do monthly updates at the end of each month rather than a lot of small boring posts during the month. (just one BIG boring one hehe)
This month I thought it would be fun to show you last year's April and this year's month of April!

APRIL 2012

It is crazy how things have changed since then! If you'll notice, that post verifies I've had Instagram for a whole year!
It also marks a year since I left ShopKo!

Now here is April 2013 =]

My mom got these for me and it was like the best day ever!

As you saw HERE we did a bedroom makeover.

I did some bloggin' and Ellen watchin'

Domer stole my spot in bed when I got up to pee...
well he did this on multiple occasions.
#preggoproblems
Did some cuddlin' and Idol watchin'

New fun nail color

I have a rocking chair project in the future =]

NFL Draft Day!
Yeah, my poor dog got dressed in a way-to-small-for-him
jersey. He hated it.

I enjoyed me some Peanut M&M's

As you saw HERE it was a fabulous month for music.
And the month in bumps!
I'll admit, not looking forward to seeing how big May's bumps are!
Hope everyone had a fabulous April and here's to a beautiful May!

Tuesday's Tunes

April was such a good month for music!
(Which is why I waited to just put them all on one post and didn't do a music post every week.)

1- Blake Shelton {Sure Be Cool If Ya Did}
2- Zac Brown Band {Goodbye In Her Eyes}
3- Kacey Musgraves {Merry Go Round}
4- Eric Church Live (a MUST have!) {Over When It's Over}
5- Thompson Square {If I Didn't Have You}
6- Tate Stevens {Power Of A Love Song}
7- The Band Perry {DONE}
(videos are most recent or only video off this album)

What are ya'll listening to?!

FEBRUARY

February flew by! And I feel like it wasn't very eventful either!
Here's my month of February...

Got some new music.
Both SOOOOOO good!

We found out on Valentine's Day that we
are having a little girl!
Zianna-Marie Rosela Jensen

Michael surprised me with a little gift :)

I parted my hair a new way and kinda love it.
I call it the Brooke Davis part.

Zianna is getting spoiled already!
My mom got her this and thinks she should
wear it home from the hospital.

Domer is my watch dog. He is almost always
looking out the window!

My cousin Tish got this for Zianna and you
have no idea just how true it will be!

The good news is I can still wear my skinny
jeans...
The bad news is, it won't be long before I'm
huge. Baby Z Bump sprung basically over
night!

Domer sleeps in funny positions!
What did all of you do in February?!

Music Monday

It's been a little while since we have gotten new music but it's also been a little while since I have blogged about new music!
So actually I have 3 new CDs to review on!
I thought you'd be excited!

Michael really loves this guy and so do I!
Not quite as much as him though..
He always has good songs and what I like most about him is he writes most of his songs. I love that about him!
So, favorites on this CD are:
Don't Believe Everything You Think - a.k.a the me and Michael song
I Drive Your Truck - to make you cry
Of course every song on the CD is good so if you haven't listened to it yet, do it! It's on Spotify!

Both of those are bonus tracks and I really love them!
I also love a lot of others on the CD but I think those 2 stood out the most.

Two Black Cadillacs - my FAVORITE!
This is just tracks #1, 2, and 3 and there is more that I like. Definitely worth buying.

COMING SOON:

Now that American Idol is over you can bet we'll be buying a bunch of songs from the season! Stay tuned!

Music Monday

Raise your hand if you still by good ol' CDs.
*raises hand*

Yeah, Michael and I are obsessed.
(and that's not even close to all of them!)
We look forward to Tuesdays because that's the day new music comes out.

Here's some of the new ones we've gotten:

Pistol Annies (finally!)
Favorites on this one are:

Brantley Gilbert
Favorites on this one are:
and to make you cry: Saving Amy

Act of Valor Soundtrack
Now, I haven't seen the movie yet.
I want to, for those of you that have, was it good?
The whole soundtrack will make you cry pretty much.
All country artists pretty much and all really really good songs.
I was so glad we got this one.
A few of my favorites:
Keith Urban - For You
(I normally don't like his music that much but I love this one)
Lori Mckenna - Two Soldiers Coming Home
(Couldn't find it on YouTube which is a shame this song is AMAZING)

The JaneDear Girls
Favorites on this one:
and my favorite so far: Never Gonna Let You Go

You may know him from American Idol Season 9
Favorites on this one so far:
I liked more than two but those are my tops for now.
Now, we did see an interview with him where he said each song leads into the next. So the best way to listen to this CD is in order. We did that once but that was before we knew they all led into each other so I'm excited to listen to it again!

What's your favorite music choices right now!?

Do you feel like crying today?

Well neither did I!
But, this music video didn't care, I cried anyway!
First of all, I have loved this song ever since we got the CD when it first came out, and I was glad it was on the radio because I think everyone should love this song!
I didn't know they would twist it to be so sad!
But the video is good, SO good!
Check it out, here's Jason Aldean's video "Tattoos On This Town"

I know, right!
Ok, here's a couple more new videos of songs I love to help cheer you up after that amazing video.

Chris Young: "You"

Steel Magnolia: "Bulletproof"

Tyler Hilton @ the Davis County Fair!!!

I don't know if you all know this about me, but I am a HUGE One Tree Hill fan! Who am I kidding, of course you knew!
My sisters and I got the opportunity the other day to go see the guy that plays Chris Keller!!!
It was my first experience of being star struck.
I had never been so close to someone I was such a big fan of!
Here are some pictures of that awesome night!

He came out to set up
and mine and Jodi's faces
did this...

I just love the fact that it was just him and
his guitar and that's it!
It sounded amazing!

Story for the pic above: He was getting ready to play one of the last songs and a girl in the crowd yelled out, "Wait! Aren't you going to play 'When it Comes'?!" He said, "Oh, you want me to?! Ok!" Then he re-tuned his guitar and told a little story as he did so. I thought it was pretty cool he was taking requests.

Front row!
So close to him!
It was AMAZING!

And one more picture of my artistic side..

Everyone should check Tyler out!
Also, he has a new CD coming in January and I can't wait to get it!

MUSIC MONDAY

Michael now working weekends makes for a very bored Anecia on this Monday I have off.
So I say, let's squash that boredom with a new blog idea.
I got this idea from Beathany Joy Galeotti.
Every Monday she tweets a song/album/or artist she recommends.
So this beautiful Monday I blog my current favorite song!

It is Jason Aldean featuring Kelly Clarkson "Don't You Want to Stay"
I love it.
I love them.
The end.

Now, to go along with this, one of the days on the 30 day challenge I was doing was "Put your iPod (or in my case, Zune) on shuffel and tell the first 10 songs.
This should be fun!
Here we go!
1- Chris Cagle "It's Good to be Back"
2- Nelly "Don't It Feel Good"
3- Shania Twain "That Don't Impress Me Much"
4- Chris Cagle "Look at What I've Done" ooh love this one!
5- Trailer Choir "Off the Hillbilly Hook" this one's fun!
6- Josh Gracin "Brass Bed"
7- Toby Keith "American Ride"
8- Shania Twain "Is There Life After Love?"
9- Lee Brice (one of my new favorites) "Falling Apart Together"
10- Katy Perry "Hot N Cold"

So there you have it!
Completely Random!
In fact it's CRAZY to me that 2 artists were on there twice!
