My Last Day

Today I ended my 7-1/2 year relationship with...

ShopKo.

I started there when I was 16. It was my first real job.

I was a cashier for about 3 years then I got hired in the Optical department. After I had been there about 2 years I became certified. Now I have an opportunity to work for another eye doctor full time which ShopKo could never give me.

I'm a little bit sad to be leaving and today was bitter sweet.

I will miss all of the friends I have made over the years working there. Some, I consider true friends and will continue to keep in touch with and hang out with. 

However, I'm so excited for this new opportunity I've been given!

I start that on Tuesday!
