FLASHBACK FRIDAY

Wow it's been a while since I've done one of these.

Yesterday I had a very sad experience and I'm not quite over it yet but these pictures make me smile!

This is a RANDOM picture I didn't even know I had.

I found it going through some old boxes on a disc labeled cheer photos.

I love it I think it's hilarious.

It's from my senior year but not sure which part of the year.

I don't really like to admit this, but I miss cheer!

I miss the game days and I miss my friends!

Don't miss high school or the drama that sometimes came with cheer, but I do miss all the good times!

Trying to describe the dress of my dreams

So for QUITE A WHILE now

I have known EXACTLY how I want my dress to look.

My mom informed me that it has been her dream to make our wedding gowns.

So now I have the challenge of describing what I want

vs. finding what I want.

Think it would be better right?

I get the dress of my dreams because all I have to do is describe it.

Not.

Easier said than done.

I have said things like...

I love this neckline but want longer sleeves

or...

I like this but want it a little fuller.
And no bow.

or...

I love this neckline but it doesn't
have to be ALL lace...

or...

I want this but WHITE

I figured I had painted a pretty clear picture.

But any patterns we looked at just weren't exactly what I had alway envisioned.

We finally found one that I agreed would work.

But...

We went to the bridal gathering on Saturday and I walked in and first thing I saw was this dress...

HOLY PERFECT!

It is exactly (minus that color of ribbon)

what I have always pictured but have failed to describe.

I love the detail.

The neckline.

The collar.

The lace.

It's just GORGEOUS.

I could see myself walking down the aisle in this dress.

Only $1,000.00

:(

NOT in my budget!

But, my mom is going to have my aunt help her draw up a pattern to look like this dress.

Of course it won't have the detail...

or the beading...

but it will be perfect.

Cross your fingers for that.

So I feel like I have been a little MIA lately.

So here's a little mini-random-post..

So Michael and I decided one day to rearrange the living room.

Change is so good!

And I have to say, I'm pleased with how it is now.

TOMORROW:

I am going to my first Bridal Gathering!

I'm so excited!

My mom and all 3 sisters are coming so it is going to be one heck of a girls day and I can't wait!

I have no idea what to expect...

but I'm hoping it's a blast!

CONFESSION:

I've started watching Jersey Shore and...

I'm HOOKED!

I think they're so fun!

And I LOVE that they have Sunday dinners.

I want that someday.

ANOTHER CONFESSION:

I skipped the gym today.

And I'm going to regret it I know but...

well I'm catching a cold and I don't want to spread germs to the weights...

(that's my story and I'm stickin to it)

I don't know what it is but it makes me feel...dare I say...sexier!

My friend Mandy started a Mobile Tanning company and can I just tell you...

It ROCKS!

It only takes about 10 minutes,

she does parties,

she always has lots of deals,

and c'mon, you'll feel AWESOME!

I was lucky enough to help her out and pose for before and after pics.

2011 GOALS

It's that time of year again...

time to set goals I probably won't reach.

Scratch that.

This year I WILL reach ALL my goals!

Which are...

-Get in my ideal shape for my wedding. More toning.

-Stick to going to the gym at least 3 times a week.

-Plant grass in our front yard.

-Fix the banister.

-Pull of the wedding of my dreams. (wish me luck)

-Care LESS what others think. I'm DONE caring to the point it hurts...

-Spend more time with the few people I feel are TRUE friends/influences in my life.

-Get on track with bills and stay on track. We tend to get behind. Please tell me I'm not the only one...

-CONFIDENCE

That is all.

So BRING IT ON 2011!
